David Brooks It is with great sadness that the family of David Brooks announce his sudden passing on Tuesday October 3, 2023. Loving son of the late Fred and Laura Brooks, brother of Diana Lloyd (Rodney Lloyd), husband of Debbie Brooks, father of Brittany (Bill Friendship) and Becky Brooks (David Mapes), grandfather of Ché Calder and a friend to many. He was his own man who made sure we all knew his stance on many issues. He was always ready to help with a project, loved a “pail” of wine with his friends and practicing his Spanish. He will be greatly missed by his family, his friends here at home and in Sosua. When a loved one becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. May we all take comfort in knowing we are not grieving alone. A Celebration of Dave's Life will take place at Maverick's on Saturday October 7th at 3:00 pm.
