This is a Canadian-built Lee-Enfield rifle no.4 mk1* in very good authentic condition, built at the Long Branch factory and dated 1944 on the left hand side of the breech. This example has super original furniture, with the desirable fluted upper handguard, and only very minor knocks and bumps you'd expect from a service rifle, with the metalwork retaining most of it's original finish. Fitted with the later mk3 rear ladder sights, brass butt-plate, and detachable 10 round magazine, this rifle cocks, dry-fires and is fully strippable, and comes complete with correct webbing sling. Inert rounds are not included, but are available in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 per round, (all extras post free if ordered with the rifle). No4 'spike' bayonets also available from £15. Deactivated with certificate in the UK to UK specification.
